I am told the following on the damage:As it stands I've located. Sadly it got some damage in transit which I am claiming for (it was insured). Hi all,So my server was being sent to the seller for repair under warranty (I raised a previous thread on this).

Server physically damaged - should I write it off? Hardware. We could have bought a new laptop with the effort I've put into it. My god, I've never had so much trouble moving to an SSD. I've tried macrium reflect and that's been trying to make bootable media on CD for close to an hour, and I'm ready to give up on that. I've tried the latest stable Clonezilla, but when it shrinks the partitions (going from 320 GB HDD to 250GB.) it screws things up. (Yes, I repeatedly have checked the drive for errors. No information I've found can resolve that. I've tried putting both drives on a desktop PC's sata bus, and imaging them that way, and the process fails with a log entry indicating "block bitmap corrupted".

I've tried installing the SSD in the laptop and putting the HDD in an enclosure, and that can't detect the HDD. I tried the rescue media, too, and it also locks up. However, when it reboots to clone the drive, it locks up, with a flashing caps lock light. Crucial's SSDs come with Acronis True Image. I've got laptops I'm trying to install SSD drives in.
